Know more about you.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that exists within a trusted, safe relationship. I will support you to notice your internal dialogue, explore your reactivity, & safely increase your felt sense which leads to healing from past traumas. We will work together to see beyond diagnosis & explore the human experience, finding acceptance in both the suffering and joy in humanity.
I offer a mindfulness-based approach to therapy. I am both guide & collaborator, drawing from psychodynamic, somatic, & arts-based practices that reduce anxiety and increase self-awareness. I am informed by my ongoing study of Buddhist Psychology, & I weave an anti-oppressive lens grounded in liberation into my work with my patients.
I encourage the use of art materials through a mindful, embodied, & curious approach. A personal creative practice can support both integration & authenticity. Creative expression offers the opportunity to regulate emotions effectively through metaphor & abstraction.
